Blue Horizon Resources PTY LTD (BHR) is a company with a niche in the mining, civil and construction industries. BHR provides value added service in the mining environment; covering operational, technical support and consulting in Drill & Blast and Slope Management.

BHR has setup a diverse team of both operational and technical expertise with recognized experience in the specialized and or rare skills in the industry. The focus of BHR is to guide each customer to the best performance.

BHR focuses on blasting services particularly the Prime-Load-Tie-Shoot commonly known as PLTS in the mining environment. BHR is also exploring opportunities to partner with drilling contractors, to position itself to provide a complete Rock-On-Ground (RoG) services. The RoG services have been common in quarries and small mines where client capital investments are critical to control, particularly where return on investment is low. BHR has positioned itself to assist clients to benefit from its comprehensive set of services at optimal fixed costs on drilling & blasting departments.

A brainchild of one of the Explosives and Blasting expert in the country, Mr. Kabelo Mosebi, BHR was conceived on a long-term plan that will see explosives manufacturing plants being set up in- land. At this point, the model is being established, as it requires BHR to engage suppliers of explosives and explosive raw materials along the journey. Places like Selebi Phikwe Economic District have been identified to be a potential local for considerations.

Citizen Economic Empowerment Program (CEEP) and local manufacturing is the center of inspiration for the company that believes that 'what starts now changes the world'.
